Legal basis

Where we process personal data on the basis of your consent (e.g. responding to enquiries by email, publishing photographs of individuals or content on our website), Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis.

Data Logging

Every time our website is accessed, the following data is stored in log files for data security and statistical purposes:

• IP address,
• time of access,
• UserAgent (browser and operating system used),
• pages or content elements accessed, and
• referrer URL (the previously visited page), if provided.

The purpose of logging is to detect, limit and eliminate malfunctions, as well as to identify misuse in accordance with Section 12(1) and (4) of the TDDDG. The IP address is not combined with other data sets. The data is stored for a maximum of seven days. It is then retained in anonymised form for access statistics. Our website uses the open-source software AWStats for access statistics. No personal data is stored in this process.

Cookies

When you visit our website, so-called ‘session cookies’ are placed and stored on your computer. The legal basis for this is Section 25(2) of the TDDDG. Cookies are small text files that serve to make the website more user-friendly, effective and secure. They do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. As a rule, session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit to our website. You have the option of disabling the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings in your browser. Please note that if you disable cookies, you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our website.

Enquiries by email

By contacting us via email, you consent to the processing of your personal data. The personal data and content you send to us via email will be stored solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and will be deleted at the latest once the matter has been resolved. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
